My focus is on empowering others in areas that include career, relationships, spirituality, health, and personal achievement. I have a passion for holistic health and wellness, always look for the best in others, and strive to help my clients work towards becoming the best version of themselves. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dayton, Ohio and over 10 years of experience as a therapist for both children and adults. I completed my Life and Wellness Coach training through Behavioral Health and Leadership Dynamics Institute and obtained my Board Certified Coach credential through the Center for Credentialing and Education.
I moved to Oregon from Pennsylania over a decade ago and love to explore the outdoors with my family. We are very active and love to camp, hike, and take routine walks outside. I also enjoy time with friends, espresso, and reading. After becoming a mother, I discovered a new passion for meditation. Meditation has played a significant role in shaping my perspective on myself and the world around me.
I am a work in progress! I have experienced loss, including both my mother and only sibling (brother) in a span of six months. I deal with the daily stresses of family life, negotiating work/life balance, and having to pick myself up when life gets hard. With a husband and two young children, days can be filled with joy, but can also be fraught with challenges. I used to get caught up on the “why” things were the way they were. Why do I feel down, why am I lacking motivation to get up and exercise, why, why, why. But once I started coaching, I realized that even though the “why” is interesting, it can sometimes keep us stagnant. The real benefit of ‘life and wellness coaching’ is that it is forward focused. Now of course we must problem solve and work through some old baggage at times, but in general, coaching is goal directed, solution oriented, and motivating. Coaching is about looking forward instead of back.
